16 years of Café Tacuba
La Vibra, the Houston Chronicle’s Spanish weekly entertainment supplement, has Café Tacuba as their cover story last week. The story is, of course, in Spanish, but it covers their career and talks about their next concert (last Saturday in Houston).

A 16 años de iniciar una carrera muy exitosa y en constante evolución, los rockeros mexicanos de Café Tacuba están disfrutando de un renacimiento.
El cuarteto —conformado por el vocalista Sizu Yantra (cuyo nombre verdadero es Rubén Albarrán), el tecladista Emmanuel “Meme” del Real, y los hermanos Rangel, Joselo en la guitarra y Enrique “Quique” en el bajo— lanzaron su gira de 25 presentaciones titulada Rock Prendido en mayo. Las entradas han sido agotadas para casi todas las presentaciones, las cuales han generado críticas globalmente positivas.
One of my favorite songs is a Café Tacuba remake of a Juan Gabriel song. Anyway, the fact that they’re becoming popular once again has a lot to do with the current trends in Spanish Rock. Viva Café Tacuba! and Viva Spanish Rock!

Yo he crecido con la musica de Cafe Tacuba. Unas de mis caciones favoritas son: Eres, Esa Noche, Avientame, por decir algunas. Que sigan y sigan hasta que esten en la tumba!!!!
