Minutemen wrap up training in Houston

The Minutemen finished up training Saturday in Houston for their operation to patrol the Texas border for illegal immigrants.

The training’s finale was the Minutemen’s last gathering before they travel to the border in two weeks. There the group will patrol privately owned property with the land owner’s permission.

The issue of citizen patrol is a heated one, and supporters and critics in Austin on Saturday engaged in verbal confrontations Saturday in front of the Capitol.
“A heated one” they say… as if this were just a debate and not a question of a citizen milita being empowered to go out and… show their best judgment. And we all know how much common sense our fellow man has these days.
